First, it is important to define what the term really means memory '. In very simplistic terms this is the ability of the human mind and its ability to "sort, store and maintain, and subsequently retrieve or recall certain information".
To help your understanding of the human mind and how working memory within it is important to know that indeed the human mind has three different types of memory. These three categories, short-term memory, long-term memory and also sensory memory. Each of these classifications work together in unison, and also classified to reflect the form of certain types of information are stored. Finally, this short-term memory could be the result some thought processes that took place recently, although this type of information can improve processes by working memory function of the mind.
